Bisque Armand Marseille 390 Bride 21″ (53cm) c1900s. Brown glass sleep eyes, angled lashes, feathered brows, open mouth, upper teeth. Blonde replaced short lush wig. Ball jointed wood composition body. Original 1953 bridal gown by Sylvia Woolley of shantung silver grey, with mauve / blue decorative pattern, also original net lace veil and matching hat with tag, posy, undergarments and white shoes. All ensemble material came from Glinys G’s original 1953 wedding ensemble, picture attached of bride. Sylvia Woolley was a milliner/seamstress at 177 Collins Street, Kurrajonh House Melbourne. Doll displayed to advantage on large square wood base stand.
