The next major doll, bear and collectable auction is on 19th February 2012 at Glen Eira Town Hall, Hawthorn Road, Caulfield, Victoria. Called "Beautiful Vision" it will be just that with some spectacular dolls and bears rarely seen. Open for inspection is from 10am and the auction action starts at 11.30 am sharp. Antique French & German bisque dolls will be a feature and some of the many highlight dolls will be the divine 19" (48cm) French antique Bru Jne Bebe with leather body and breast plate and rarer "Crescent & Bru Jne" combination makers marks, divine chubby cheeks, sculpted teeth circa 1880. German bisque 20" Kammer & Reinhardt 117 closed mouth "Mein Liebling" with pink original dress and shoes. Scarce shop "Au Pere Noel" paper label on Jumeau 66cm "Bebe Reclame", rare cabinet size 33cm Kley & Hahn 169 German bisque. A companion sized 35" Heinrich Handwerck and Kestner 211 Toddler antique bisque dolls. Gorgeous all original Italian Lenci "Mascotte" with paper label and holding sunflowers also 1930-40s Kathe Kruse 51cm girl. Other dolls to sell will be by French elite doll makers Francois Gaultier and 27" Jules Steiner and more to be listed soon. Along with some delightful cabinet sized antique Googly dolls.
Sensational Steiff bear c1910s with early underscored ear button. Remarkable rare white Strunz bear and one owner 1935 scarce swivel head Joy Toys bear will also get the blood pumping at this historic auction on Sunday 19th February. Some Schuco Yes / No animals and an early Bing bear will delight bear collector's everywhere.
Fashion doll collectors will be excited by a scarce 1972 Blythe Kenner doll and modern boxed Neo Blythe's. Five 1980s MY Child beauties will sell and include a MY Child baby with child's back pack. Boxed Annette Himstedt dolls and 60s Barbie with white lips along with some scarce 1960s clothes that will delight collector's. As will the NRFB vintage Barbie collection selling.
