Lot 109. Earliest Australian Jakas 1956 bear 24″ (61cm). Gold mohair, amber glass eyes, vertical stitched nose and inverted mouth. Jointed arms/legs with earliest tag on arm seam, wood-kapok fill, stiff neck, reattached ears, defined muzzle, white vinyl pads, and non-working growler. Hard to find the first Jakas bears.
