Cabinet 1890s Jules Steiner ‘La Parisien A Series’ Bebe pressed French bisque 14″ (35.5cm). Incised “J. Steiner/Bte SGDG//Paris//A 7” and red stamped Le Parisien. Beautiful closed pink mouth with inner shading and white space, accented nostrils and eye corners. Blue glass paperweight eyes, bold angled lashes, long arched brows with fine feathering, pierced ears. Original brown human hair with sausage curls, cardboard pate. Five piece composition body with slender fingers. Dropped waist day wear ensemble with faint rose print, matching hat, undergarments, socks, and leather shoes.
